I bought this mount after a couple of hours of Internet research. It came down to a choice between this one (Sanus VMDD26) and one from monoprice.com, which costs significantly less. I just wasn't convinced that that the monoprice mount would have the same quality and ease of movement as the Sanus, so I went with the Sanus mount. And wow! I'm blown away by its quality and durability. It's heavy, well-built and has a great shiny black finish.
I hung a Panasonic 50PZ85U (50" plasma) which weighs just over 100 lbs. Repositioning it is so easy because each of the joints on the mount allow the TV to smoothly glide as you push/pull it. I don't see any sag in the unit at all and all the joints are tight (there isn't any "play").
The installation was simple (took less than 90 minutes), although you'll probably need at least two people to finally hang the TV on the wall. The mount that is attached to the TV is probably 40-50 lbs and when you add in the weight of the TV, it's too much/dangerous for just one person to deal with.
I wasn't sure how it would look wall mounted, but I absolutely love the look now. Having the TV "floating" in the corner is such a cool and clean look, and it frees up the top of the stand for more components.
I don't know how the monoprice.com mount performs, but I know I got a great mount from Sanus. I highly recommend it.
