Rating : - Great TV, Great Price, Great White-Glove Service We've had this TV for ~2 months and love it. We have our cable box connected to a Yamaha RX-V863 AV Receiver via HDMI which is connected to the TV's HDMI port 1. We also hooked up the same cable box connected directly to the TV's Component port. This allows my wife and I watch enjoy the TV with high quality surround sound while allowing our Nanny to turn on Noggin/Sprout for our child without the need for the AV Receiver via the Component input source.
There is a slight difference between HDMI and Component quality. Nothing major for a child. The TV sound is pretty good, but it does not beat having an AV system.
